Suwannee River State Park, open every day of the year with a $5 admission fee, offers a range of outdoor activities such as biking, birdwatching, boating on the Suwannee and Withlacoochee rivers, camping, hiking, fishing, paddling, and picnicking.
2. Heritage Park and Gardens, Live Oak
Heritage Park and Gardens, a charming historic site, welcomes visitors to unwind in its gardens, enjoy picnics or host events. Explore the garden’s array of free amenities, including colorful flowers, a serene koi pond, and inviting arbors. Take a stroll along the shaded walking trail, enjoy a round of disc golf or let the kids play on the playground and baseball field. Private tours of the mansion are also available for a small fee, providing a glimpse into its fascinating history.
3. First Federal Sportsplex, Live Oak
