Please Note: Camp Dovewood is a private summer camp and is not open to the public for general camping or drop-in recreation.
For more than 35 years, Camp Dovewood has helped Christian girls ages 7–14 grow in faith, confidence, and skill in the heart of North Florida. Nestled in Suwannee County, this all-girls Christian summer camp blends classic camp activities with meaningful spiritual development — creating a one-of-a-kind experience rooted in love, leadership, and Scripture.
Campers start each day with Chapel before choosing from a robust list of over 20 activities, including horseback riding, archery, swimming, photography, ballet, drama, and daily Bible classes. Wednesdays and Saturdays bring special adventures like trail rides and river rafting, allowing girls to connect with nature while growing physically and spiritually.
Led by a dedicated team of college-aged counselors and staff who are all born-again Christians, Camp Dovewood creates a safe, encouraging environment where each camper is treated as a unique child of God. Social, emotional, and intellectual growth is all part of the experience — and girls leave with strengthened faith, new friendships, and life skills that last long after summer ends.
