At the Suwannee County Historical Museum, you’ll discover the colorful and dynamic heritage this area has to offer. From fossils and archaeological artifacts to an extensive photo collection, you’ll find that there is something for everyone at the museum.
The museum is located at the railroad tracks on Hwy 129 one block north of Hwy 90. Extend your stay in the area and enjoy many historic sites, quaint towns, and lush scenic farmlands. Suwannee County is also home to many recreational opportunities including the historic Suwannee River as well as several area springs. We offer activities such as scuba diving, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and more!
