Rooney’s Front Porch Farm is a locally owned and operated blueberry farm. Bring a picnic supper with you and sit under the shade of the beautiful pecan trees to watch a gorgeous sunset after your family is finished picking. Remember to stop by the Front Porch Farm Kitchen for delicious homemade jams.
They offer four varieties of blueberries. They have 3,000 blueberry bushes and there is mowed grass in between each row of blueberry bushes. They do not use pesticides on their blueberries. They also offer u-pick thornless blackberries and u-cut sunflowers!
Their blueberry season typically opens around June 1st but it can vary depending on when the berries ripen. Their 2024 season began on May 28th. During the u-pick season their hours are Monday- Wednesday from 7am – 1pm, Thursday – Saturday 7am – 7pm, and closed on Sundays. U-pick blueberries are $13 per gallon. There is a public restroom available.
